How Many Corners?

4.6% ABV

We’re keen on corners around here and made “How Many Corners” to satisfy these unnatural urges. We’ve used a cornucopia of international hops in this beer including Sabro, Mosaic, Barbe Rouge, and Southern Passion. Expect tropical fruit over a gentle malt backbone.

Lil’ Broski

3.7% ABV

Lil’ Broski celebrates our long relationship with The Glass Monkey, one of our favourite local restaurants. Of the many beers we’ve served there, Bro has been a particular fan favourite, so together we decided to do a summer version with a lower ABV. Notes of coffee, chocolate and roasty malt dominate this crushable beer.

Resilient Lager

4.5% ABV

Resilient Lager is the product of a generous “Brewer for a Day” donation for the Stollery Children’s Hospital. The folks that were the honorary brewers wanted to make a crushable beer inspired by classic Ukranian lagers. Bright, crisp, and floral, this beer acknowledges resilience of people everywhere.

Astra Primursa

6.1% ABV

Astra Primursa is the third release in the Dry Hop Series. This blend of one, two, three and four year old mixed-fermentation barrels is a collision of two worlds: old world East Kent Goldings and new world Amarillo. These two wildly different hops meld delightfully to dry hop this beer. The result is juicy grapefruit, tropical starfruit, and marmalade hop character balanced by a full, round texture and medium-high acidity.

Bière de Gascony

6.6% ABV

Bière de Gascony is a mixed-fermentation blend that spent 24 months in Armagnac barrels before being carefully selected for this beer. The Armagnac barrels used in this beer originated in Gascony, France. The blend displays a combination of berry fruit notes and savoury depth with elements of leather and tobacco. It has medium acidity and a dry finish showcasing a combination of subtle baking spice and oaky tannins. We hope you like it.

Whoops!

6.1% ABV

Whoops’ origins lie in an error made in a batch of Union Bhoys many years ago. Too much wheat was added and a new beer was created. We did an aggressive dry hop with German Tettnang to give Whoops a bright hop bite with a menthol twinge. Be amazed at our mistakes!

The result is a robust beer with subtle red berry and rose water aromatics, savoury walnut and maple flavours, which are amplified by a medium high acidity.

Fiddler’s Red

4.8% ABV

This rich red ale was initally a special charity brew supporting Youth Empowerment and Support Services (YESS). The idea for this beer came from a generous group of donors that won a YESS auction to be brewers for a day at Blind Enthusiasm and has been brought back due to our love of this brew. This beer is malt-forward with low bitterness.
