The blend of 1, 2 & 3 year barrels spent 2 months refermenting with the crushed fruit and skins. This hybrid of beer and wine showcases the complexity of Spontaneous Fermentation, while the grapes bring citrus, apple, light pepper & floral flavours, highlighted by wine-like acidity, round texture, and subtle tannin.

Yukon Meadows 2023
2023 Yukon Meadows was made using Two Brewers Whisky barrels which we secured thanks to our Market head brewer’s history in the Yukon. The base beer is the same recipe across all Meadows releases. The Whisky from these barrels was well-balanced, resulting in a beer that is rich and chocolatey, with gentle boozy warming finish. We hope you like it.
Fruitful Pursuits: Plum 2022

For 2022 we used hundreds of kilograms of Damson and President plums grown in the Okanagan and supplied by our good friends Steve & Dan’s Fresh BC Fruit. Mon Chester is a Mixed Fermentation blend featuring the unique characteristics of Sicilian red wine barrels. The beer is fermented in these incredibly flavourful barrels for 24 months which imparts a huge amount of the bright fruity flavours from these warm weather Sicilian red wines. These flavours caught the attention of our good friend Tom Chester so much that we named the beer after him. The result is a beer with bombastic raspberry fruitiness, juicy citrus, rose water aromatics, and candy like intensity. These flavours are highlighted by a bright, tart acidity and fleeting dry finish.
This bright copper lager combines bold stone-fruit notes with complex herbal hopping and balanced bitterness. It finishes dry with lingering herbal and fruit flavors.
Our unfiltered amber wheat beer has a beautiful amber hue. Its subtle banana and spice character is balanced with dried fruit aromatics and flavour. Our inspiration for this beer was found on a trip to southern Germany to visit our brewhouse supplier.
We’ve dug deep into our brewing repertoire to create Breezy, a beer inspired by delicate English summer ales. Breezy is light and refreshing with a shockingly low ABV considering its bold doughy malt, floral and orange-pulp aromas and flavours. Low ABV doesn’t mean you have to compromise on great flavor. Check outa Breezy anytime of year.
This clean lager has a bright gold colour with a heavy floral aroma of honeysuckle. The low bitterness lends itself to a honey like flavour with a crisp finish. Rob’s best friend from Germany, Fabian, designed this beer and helped us install our brewhouse. You’re a legend brü.
10 Month Brandy Barrel-Aged Dark Lager — The Business is a brandy barrel-aged dark amber lager inspired by our prior release, Working Overtime. The Business is aged in barrels for 10 months. Where Working Overtime was boldly effervescent, The Business is dark, smooth, and supported by a dark fruit foundation. It has a light alcohol warming and a clean, smooth finish.
1, 2 & 3 Year Spontaneous Fermentation Blend — Spontaneous Manifesto marks a milestone as The Monolith’s inaugural 100% Spontaneous Fermentation release. Made using historical methods developed in Belgium over generations, this blend of 1, 2 & 3 year barrels is our quintessential Spontaneous Fermentation blend. The result of these techniques is a unique product shaped by our local environment and indigenous microflora. It showcases classic stone fruit, apple and citric flavours and aromas with some bright red wine fruitiness, and subtle tannin, highlighted by a balanced acidity.
Frucht Bombe is the fourth release in the Dry Hop Series. This blend of two, three, and four year mixed fermentation barrels is dry hopped with two contemporary German hop varietals: Huell Mellon and Mandarina Bavaria. These two distinct hops react to create an explosion of ripe tangerine, sharp grapefruit, and juicy melon hop character. This eruption of flavour is balanced by a full, round texture, medium acidity, and a subtle salinity. We hope you like it.
