The Monolith is looking for food and beverage afficionados to join our team in both full time and part time roles. In this role you will provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. Our ideal candidate has a passion for the specialty beer we make, delicious foods, and is excited to share their enthusiasm with our patrons! If these areas aren’t your area of expertise yet, we are willing to offer detailed training for the right person!

Responsibilities

Providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
Be an expert on our beers, stay up to date and have a detailed knowledge of our offerings.
Use expertise to help guide guests in their selections and answer questions about our beers
Comprehensive execution of opening and closing procedures
Processing sales transactions and closing cash outs
Providing guest feedback to General Manager
Maintaining product quality standards
Meeting AGLC guidelines for Class A liquor service

Required Skills

Effective organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using POS systems.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage services.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with coworkers and interact with customers.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and demands.
Physical stamina: ability to lift heavy objects and work on feet for extended lengths of time.
Foundational knowledge of beer is an asset, but training will be provided.

Qualifications

Prior experience in customer service roles.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
ProServe Certification.
First Aid training is an asset.
Restaurant, bar or café experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time available

Health and dental care benefits are included for full time employees (after 3 months of employment)
