Known to most as Chef Lazer, Matthew Lazarevich brings a passion for simplicity and seasonality to the kitchen. Trained under the esteemed Chef Jean-Jacque Chapuis at just 15, Chef Lazer quickly learned the foundations of fine cuisine. Currently serving as the sous chef at Bella, an Italian restaurant, he oversees the fresh pasta program and contributes to Bella’s celebrated seasonal menu. With experience as the head chef of Corso 32, Chef Lazer has honed his skills in leading a kitchen and creating dishes that reflect his commitment to using the freshest ingredients available. For this event, he brings a flavorful twist with his love for Thai cuisine, showcasing his versatility and respect for different culinary traditions. Chef Lazer’s cooking philosophy is simple yet profound: let the ingredients shine by staying true to the season and embracing straightforward, honest flavors.
