We are proud to announce Barrel Fest 2023, a celebration of beers and ciders, all made in wood. Taking place in Edmonton, Alberta on Saturday, September 23rd this event features a huge range of barrel-aged and barrel-fermented beers from across Canada. The festival will be held at the Ritchie Community League, just steps away from Happy Beer Street. The breweries and cideries attending all devote significant production effort to barrel-aging and barrel-fermenting and every beer in the festival will have to spend some time in wood.
“In creating Barrel Fest our goal is to invite a number of our pals from across the country to share their special beers with the public,” says Greg Zeschuk, founder of Blind Enthusiasm. “These are beers that we love deeply and we want to share them with as many people as possible.”
