Meadows Day marks the release of new barrel-aged beers from our Meadows series. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Father’s Day, or pre-game for the Stanley Cup finals! Buffalo Meadows and Yukon Meadows: Peated return in their 2023 vintage. We’re also releasing the super unique Wheated Meadows, a limited edition beer that was aged in a single barrel of wheated bourbon. No tickets are required — beer and bottles will be available on a first come, first served basis!
BIERA
CASK, FLIGHTS & FOOD PAIRING
We’ll have sampledoodles featuring all the three core Meadows beers, so you can compare the differences that each barrel makes. We’ll also be pouring a special cask of Buffalo Meadows. The kitchen at Biera will making a pairing dish to accompany these barrel-aged brews. Bottles will also be available to-go!

Across the foyer from Biera is the Biera Market. The shop will be pouring samples and selling bottles to go. That’s where you can get limited edition 3-packs of the core Meadows beers, the perfect gift for dad! We’ll have our gift packs of our new releases, but also a limited number of 3-packs of our previous vintages which have been cellaring since 2022. A very limited number of Wheated Meadows bottles will also be available.
We’ve been releasing beer in the Meadows Series of barrel-aged beer since 2020. The base beer of each Meadows release uses the same recipe. The difference in each beer comes from the barrels that are used. The base beer is a dark lager that was cool-fermented in stainless steel with Alberta blossom honey and bee pollen from Meadow-Sweet Apiaries.
Wheated Meadows
SINGLE BARREL • 11 MONTHS IN WHEATED BOURBON BARRELS
This unique beer spent 11 months in a single barrel of Weller Full Proof Wheated Bourbon. The result is beer with smooth dark chocolate notes and surprising drinkability for 10.7% ABV.
Yukon Meadows: Peated
11 MONTHS IN WHISKY BARRELS
2023 Yukon Meadows (Peated) was made using Two Brewers Whisky barrels from the Yukon. The Whisky from these barrels was well-balanced and moderately peated. The peat in this beer is prominent, but not overpowering; it melds delightfully with the warming alcohol and rich roasty malt.
Buffalo Meadows
11 MONTHS IN BOURBON BARRELS
2023 Buffalo Meadows is a dark lager that was aged for 11 months in fresh Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. The techniques and ingredients give this beer dark fruit notes, and complex salinity, with a warming finish.
Yukon Meadows
10 MONTHS IN WHISKY BARRELS
Originally released in the fall, the 2023 vintage of Yukon Meadows was also made using Two Brewers Whisky barrels. The Whisky from these barrels was well-balanced, resulting in a beer that is rich and chocolatey, with gentle boozy warming finish.
