Street Beat Pollen Wheat
Our second “Brewer for a Day” Auction beer benefitting the Stollery Children’s Hospital (2017) is a Belgian-style wheat beer enhanced with the addition of pollen to give it a floral and earthy quality. It’s also light, fresh, effervescent, and very dry. For each pour of this beer one dollar will be donated to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. This beer received a Bronze Medal at the 2018 Alberta Brewing Awards.
This special collaboration beer was conceived with Corey the Butcher, of ACME. While sharing beers with our pal, we came up with the idea for this red-coloured, hop-forward ale. The surprisingly dry and clean finish accentuates the citrus, fruity, resinous notes, and bold bitterness. The malt adds additional stone-fruit character to support the double dry-hopping of this beer. This beer received a Gold Medal at the 2018 Alberta Brewing Awards.
We took our ESM recipe and changed only the American hops to Nelson Sauvin and Green Bullet from New Zealand to create this one-off beer. The result is entirely different than ESM, with floral, papaya, and pear aromas and flavor complemented by a round, lightly fruity malt profile.
An unfiltered and robust wheat beer. Showcases strong banana aroma balanced by a unique noble dry-hop.
10 ’til 2 Jim
Brewed with the winner of a “Brewer for a Day” Auction benefiting the Stollery Children’s Hospital, this special beer is a delicate, fruity ale with lemon zest and pineapple aromas with matching flavor, and a crisp, dry finish with a gentle kiss of bitterness. Contrary to popular belief, Jim does work a full day quite often. For each pour of this beer one dollar will be donated to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
This highly hopped wheat beer delivers a balance of hop character and yeast esters with big orange pith and tropical fruit flavour and aromas with a clean sharp finish.
Our unfiltered Fall wheat beer has a beautiful amber hue. Its subtle banana and spice character is balanced with dried fruit aromatics and flavour.
This dark ale is deep brown in color, medium-bodied, with a combination of rich chocolate and sutble fruit notes. Raisins, dried cherries, and red currants blend into dark chocolate in a surprisingly dry finish.
This light and crisp pale lager has a bready malt backbone balanced with a pithy lemon zest finish thanks to some creatively applied American hops.
A wheat beer that delivers a cloudy balance of hop character and yeast esters. Notes of bubble gum, watermelon, and cotton candy, with hints of bananas and apricots. These flavours really highlight the Belgian yeast strain.
This collaboration with our friends at Brasserie de la Senne in Belgium. Joel Galy their head brewer worked with us to create a beer with body, that has a distinct yeasty character from our house blend of yeasts. Lemon zest, white wine grapes, and hints of lychee are predominant in the aromas and flavour, with a crisp dry finish.
This crisp and clean lager is surprisingly complex, showing elegant floral flavors and aromatic notes, and subtle honey sweetness. FAB was designed with our German brewery-installer, Fab. You’re a legend brü.
