Since our brewery is located in the Ritchie, we were ecstatic when the folks from Ritchie Community League asked us to participate in their Centennial Celebration. This bright, fruity, dry-hopped ale commemorates the occasion, and can be enjoyed by anyone in any neighbourhood!
Buffalo Meadows 2022
2022 Buffalo Meadows is a dark lager, that was cool-fermented in stainless steel with Alberta blossom honey and bee pollen from Meadow-Sweet Apiaries. The base beer is the same recipe across all Meadows releases. It was then aged for 9 months in fresh Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. The techniques and ingredients give this beer dark fruit notes, and complex salinity, with a warming finish.
Yukon Meadows (Peated)
2022 Yukon Meadows (Peated) was made using Two Brewers Whisky barrels which we secured thanks to our Market head brewer’s history in the Yukon. The base beer is the same recipe across all Meadows releases. The Whisky from these barrels was well-balanced and moderately peated. The peat in this beer is prominent, but not overpowering; it melds delightfully with the warming alcohol and rich roasty malt. We hope you like it.

Groot Juice is named after one of our departing brewers. He wanted a light, hoppy ale with bold hop notes and we delivered! Groot Juice is mildly hazy, with punchy stonefruit notes, particularly Peach. This beer is bright and refreshing, just like Aaron!
Our goal is high drinkability in every beer we make. Sometimes we reach next-level drinkability. Occasionally we hit quaffable. This beer is hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Hallertau Blanc to maximize white wine-like fruit character. It is pale yellow in color with a hint of gooseberry and white wine grape on the nose with a clean, refreshing finish.
This rich red ale is a special charity brew supporting Youth Empowerment and Support Services (YESS) — $1 from each can sold will be donated to YESS. The idea for this beer came from a generous group of donors that won a YESS auction to be brewers for a day at Blind Enthusiasm. This beer is malt-forward with low bitterness.
This clean lager has a bright gold colour with a heavy floral aroma of honeysuckle. The low bitterness lends itself to a honey like flavour with a crisp finish. Rob’s best friend from Germany, Fabian, designed this beer and helped us install our brewhouse. You’re a legend brü.
Ferry of the Damned
Ferry of the Damned is a Quick Turn mixed fermentation beer fermented in stainless steel tanks for 4 months. It was then re-fermented on Riesling Grape Pomace with the addition of a special blend of microorganisms for an additional 2 months. The time spent on the Riesling pomace adds subtle wine character with additional texture and complexity. The result is a unique beer with bright citrus and wine flavours, subtle nutty aromatics, and medium light acidity. We hope you like it.
Ricecutter’s Lager reunites our head brewer with his friends back in the Yukon at Woodcutter’s Brewing to make a unique collab beer. Rice Flakes were added to the grain bill to lighten the malt character and it wasdry hopped with Lemondrop and Mandarina Bavariafor a subtle burstof citrus. Thisdelicate lagertastes best underthe late night sun.
Substantially Complete 2021
1, 2, 3 Year Mixed Fermentation Blend — Substantially Complete reflects The Monolith both as a physical entity and the beer it produces. This blend is a snapshot of our mixed fermentation program year to year, using Marsala, Red Wine and Cognac barrels of different vintages. After fermenting for 1, 2, & 3 years using a house-blend of microorganisms, the result is our quintessential blend— adventurous, yet balanced, with bright peach and citrus flavour, light oxidative and wine notes, highlighted by a medium acidity. We hope you like it!
Brandy Barrel-Aged Dark Lager — The brewing machine never stops in Blind Enthusiasm’s barrel room and Working Overtime is the delicious result of this process. A big dark lager was added to fresh Brandy barrels and aged for 20 months to create a smooth and boozy delight. Dark fruits and cherry cola notes are supported by a bright effervescence in this big, drinkable beer. We hope you like it.
