El Dorado Reposado
What happens when we add one of our favorite hop varieties (El Dorado) to a crisp, fruity beer aged in fresh Tequila barrels for 10 months then blended with a small amount of fresh beer? You get El Dorado Reposado, an astonishing amalgam of agave, hop oils, and alpha acids. This barrel-aged beer walks an amazingly fine line between boozy tequila, patio sipper, and complex quaff. Substantially Complete reflects The Monolith both as a physical entity and the beer it produces. This is our quintessential beer—adventurous, yet balanced. Substantially Complete is fermented using a house-blend of microorganisms in French oak barrels for one year. It was bottle-conditioned for seven months. It has a medium acidity and a bold peach and citrus fruit character.
Our first barrel-aged beer from the Market brewery is a dark lager that was cool-fermented in stainless steel with Alberta blossom honey and bee pollen from Meadow-Sweet Apiaries. It was then aged for 9 months in fresh Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. The techniques and ingredients give this beer dark fruit notes, and complex salinity, with a warming finish.
This hoppy dark ale is deep brown in color, with voluminous tan foam. The unique aroma is a combination of dank hops with roasty malt notes. The flavour is earthy, roasty, and piney, and finishes with medium-high bitterness. This is the boldest 3.6% beer you’ll find anywhere. Chase 2020 is a re-imagining of Don’tcha Hate Chase for the new decade, thanks to a jolt of Chinook and Eukanot hops for extra flava.
Measure of Patience
This beer was fermented using a house-blend of microorganisms in French oak barrels for one year. This batch has a medium-light acidity that showcases a balanced and bright stone fruit character. Measure of Patience reflects our effort and focus during the 5 year journey to release our first beer from The Monolith brewery. We hope you like it.
This copper ale is made with exclusively English malts and hops. Its aroma has a hint of peat smoke over rich fruity malt. It has low bitterness, and the peat builds lowly in the flavor, with round stone fruit notes in balanced finish. This beer was made for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation for a Brewer for a Day auction. One dollar goes to the Foundation for each beer sold.
This dark ale is deep brown in color, medium-bodied, with a combination of rich chocolate and subtle fruit notes. Dark chocolate blends into raisins, dried cherries, and red currants for a surprisingly dry finish.
Union Bhoys Lager was brewed in celebration of the Soccer Team Union St-Gilloise in Brussels, Belgium. This lager was brewed with both wheat and barley, giving it a hazy yellow colour. It has floral and melon fruit aromatics, with clean malt, honey dew, and lychee flavours followed by a dry, lightly bitter finish.
Our unfiltered Fall wheat beer has a beautiful amber hue. Its subtle banana and spice character is balanced with dried fruit aromatics and flavour.

Light, pale malt showcases this freshly dry-hopped ale. This ultimate version of ESM displays a robust tropical hop profile, amplified by a crisp, dry finish and surprisingly low bitterness.
